Hopefully All The Hard Work Has Paid Off

Here we are, another year gone by. I had the day off today, and sat waiting for the winners to be announced. Boy, they took their time. Finally, there it was. I have to admit that I had known that I had a good chance for a couple of awards, but it hadn't been finalized yet. Now it is official. I wonder though, how in the world does a person win those awards for best world set, etc. I spent alot of time compiling info on the coins, mintages and all. May be someday I'll figuar out how to get me one of those.

I have noticed that you do get out of the registries what you put into it. This is one of the most enjoyable pastimes that I have, a little lonely, but there is some nice companionship through reading journals, help answering questions, and even debating another members opinion on issues.

Enough about me. I do hope that 2009 brings good luck, health, friendship, and alot of fun to all my fellow collectors out there. Maybe some of us can get together next Jan. at the florida FUN show and NGC Lunch. I think that I'm going to try to make arrangments for this next year for myself. Anyone want to join me?
