And the drive to have it all..

I've finally decided to add a journal entry after 3 years. I have always loved collecting coins since I was young. 30 years ago it was loose change. I had to have one of everything and I remember it use to drive my parents nuts. A few years ago I started to collect certified coins. Soon after I became aware of this collectors site. I started to list all my coins and realized I had to have one of everything. Being 30 years later, now I drive my wife nuts. I've realized coin collecting can become an addiction as well as a hobby. Every now and then I have to stop the spending and relish in the treasures I already have. Now that it's a new year, I've decided to spend more time enjoying what I already have and less time spending on more coins to add to my collection. Don't get me wrong. I will still try to get one of everything, as any true collector would, but this year I will move at a slower pace. I have set a goal this year to be within the top 1000 in the Registry.
