PAWPAW

My Dad collected coins when I was a child, and I never had much interest in them. I liked fast cars and girls, not necessarily in that order mind you. Then the love of my life came in Nov. of 1971. We were married June of 72 and our first child was born June of 73. I started my collection in 1999 when our first grandchild a baby girl Allison was born. My wife and I were at a Hotel in Kentucky and I was looking at a news paper and saw a ad of a $100 dollar silver bar from the Franklin Mint and bought 3 one for me one for our soon to be Allie and one for our sometime in the future, daughter`s first child. We now have three Grand!children 2 girls and a boy. I have been collecting coins ever sense that day, I as you can see have Silver Eagles in Proof and Uncirculated. I also have a 85% collection of Morgans 100% JFK Halves and Proof sets from 1953 to date along with an assortment of others. Collecting has been fun and hope to some day hand it down to one of my Grand!children (RILEY) along with my 1968 Barracuda. Hope I live long enough to see him go on his first date in the car. (FAST GIRLS AND SLOW CARS AND A LITTLE LOSE CHANGE).
