Hi I am new to this forum so please forgive me if its not what you want to here.

I've always collected something.. when I was a young boy I got hooked on Comic books which is why I am on here now stamps, & coins, I remember a a young boy going to the bank and exchanging rolls of pennies , dines , quarters , etc for ones that I would search through to complete my collection and also sending out for every first day cover stamp when it came out... but comic books were my passion.. and so that the coins, the stamps were not my main project of interest and so most of them were either spent or exchanged for something else long ago. but that I've never lost interest in coins particularly gold and silver coins. why because of the fact that I have this idea that soon the Dollar which used to be backed by silver and way long ago by GOLD..will be worthless. so I am once again buying up gold coins ( numismatic ones particularly the $5 dollar gold commemorative coins that the US started to mint in the eighties... in PROOF condition) I do have some junk silver coins as well as several hundred morgan silver dollars that are graded in bu condition but not yet encapsulated.. and am curious am them do you thin k that I should have them graded? or should I buy more junk both gold and silver and should I convert my graded coins into junk coins because I have this feeling that we will need them when we have to take a wheelbarrow of paper (i.e fiat) money out to buy our groceries as happened in Pre WW 11 Germany and us now happening in ZIMBOBAWAY or however you spell it..lol

any insight on what to do would really be appreciated..

Thanks

Fantastic Frank
