A Failed Mouse can sure cost some money

I've finally recieved the fruits of my mistake. During the last Long Beach auction, I had bid on a few coins through ebay, and thought that I would watch the goings on. During the auction I thought that I might still be interested in bidding on a few more. As the coins were running through, at a very fast pace I might add. My cordless mouse started to fail. After banging my mouse around frantically, and realizing that I need to change the batteries, that is exactly what I did. Now is where the fun began. After changing the batteries, a process which I have done on many of occasions. Like usual, I then just clicked to see that it was now working. Yes it was working just fine, however, what I just mindlessly clicked on worked fine as well. Out of the corner of my eye I saw some green numbers in the sold columb scrole by. OH MY GOD, what had I just done. I raced down the sold listings to find what had just happened. Yep, I did it. I had just bought myself a very fine coin. A 140 A.D. Roman coin. I don't even collect them, but I just bought one. Well fortunately, it didn't cost me my house, which it could have. Only $140.00 plus fees. What a lesson though. It just arrived the other day. A very nice looking piece. It looks nicer than many modern BU coins that I have seen, no wear at all. well, I learned a lesson, and it didn't bankrupt me, but I sure am going to be alot more carfull on the live auctions next time. I'll post some pictures when I figuare out how to get a good picture through it's plastic casing.
