2009 will be exciting!!

Well, it's that time of the year again to look ahead if you had a so-so year...or to look back if you had a good year.

I am gonna look ahead!!

2009 promises to be exciting for our collective numismania as we will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Lincoln Penny...which means your 1909's will OFFICIALLY be antiques!! I am proud to own a 1909 VDB penny which I will have graded as soon as funds allow.

Also, the Mint will be issuing new pennies highlighting the life of Lincoln. I cannot help but wonder what kind of errors we will see.

I am also looking forward to the new 2009 Sac dollars, and the 2009 Prezzies. I may start collecting the new Sac's as it seems like an exciting new coin.

2009 will also bring forth my interview plans with some fellow numismaniacs which I do promise will be enlightening and exciting. It will be posted here and at blogspot.

I am looking forward greatly to Thanksgiving this year, too. I have so many fond Thanksgiving memories, and it is my favorite holiday. I have not had the best year on record, but there are many blessings and lessons that were given to me.

So, as I look ahead, I invite all of you to be excited as well. Let's all make 2009 the best numismatic year we all ever had!!
