The history and then some

I started editing the second video in the coin series "Spare Change" that I'm releasing on the website youtube. The first video was about coin collecting do's and dont's. The second video production in the line up is about the Morgan Dollar. Currently, I'm trying to make the documentary more interesting so that everyone that views the video (collector and the average non-collector) will be entertained. I have a basic draft in the editor but now I have to add all the bells and whistles. The video itself discusses the history behind the Morgan dollar, along with what I like to collect and I would look for in a Morgan. I did have to leave out a lot of history due to the fact the video would be wayyyy to long :0). One of the problems I have had producing the Spare Change: Morgan Dollar video is finding public domain images to add. Most of the PD images I have used so far are from the copyright office and entered the public domain in 1923. Most are from the late 1800's. One image I need that I have not been able to find is that of George T Morgan himself. I'm going to email around the coin community today and see if anyone has a high quality tiff image of Morgan. I hope I can have the full video complete by the end of the week and everyone will enjoy it After that its off to work on episode 3 which will be about the Liberty head double eagle (my personal favorite)
