Re: A loss beyond words
True friends are the ones who are there for you in the bad times, not just the good times.
I read with great sadness about Michael Cooper's son, Elijah. The loss of any child is a tragedy, but losing one so young only magnifies the loss with thoughts of what could have/should have been.
I lost my son, David, almost two years ago. My other son was in the hospital for three months after his premature birth at less than two pounds. The kind messages of concern I received from complete strangers on this forum were very comforting, and I will always be grateful for them. I want to encourage everyone to write to Mr.Cooper and give him your support at this difficult time.
We are all here with a shared interest--numismatics. Immersing myself in my hobby was one of the ways I got through my difficult time. Extending support to a fellow collector is the least we can do in a time of such great sorrow.
