Remember When?

I know this is suspose to be a coin journal , but this one is not sorry, Seven years ago today ... I was sitting in a training class, when suddenly several members of the classes pagers begin to go off requesting them to return to their station as soon as possible, then the instructor turned the tv on just seconds before the second plane flew into the towers. I was numb, I could not believe that people would kill innocent people like this. I was then requested back at my station for standby. Most of the guys in class cover the army depot in central kentucky where they store chemial agents, so they stay on high alert, as they day went on seems it would never end. Alot of my bothers headed north to help with the search at the "PILE" as it was called, they returned with such sad stories that will haunt them the rest of their lives. But the one good thing I saw that came from this in days after was how ALL americans came together.

I have never seen this in my life time, how we all were pround to be americans and what it took to remind us that we are.By watching that day seeing so many of my brothers and sisters die doing what I do , A small piece of me died that day as well, As I will Never FORGET this day seven years ago.

So in saying this I must say a Thank You to all that gave the ultimate , and to all those still serving.
