Charged twice, same order

Write this number down..1-202-354-7500 (us mint Headquarters, Wash.DC.)

It began on July 22,08, I placed an order for eagles, They were shiped on July, 23,08, I waited and waited..By Aug.30th, NO COINS! I called Customer service (CS)toll free number, I was directed to submit a CNR, Customer non-reciept. Did that, On Sept. 3,08, I viewed my bank/debit card statement, And found I had been "recharged" the allready paid for order. (07-22-08). So called CS and was informed that I was "credited" the amount shown on the statement as DEBIT, I could not get a representative to understand the diferance between debit and Credit! So asked for a "suit" (better known as manager). He didnt get it iether, after really trying hard to get him to understand he hit me with the old stand-by, (ITS OUR POLICY!)WHAT?? That I would get a Credit in ten days more or less.

I tried to explain that YOU CANT CHARGE ME TWICE for the same order and at the same time destroy my available balance on my card, leaving me open to overdraft charges. Its our policy and he hung up the phone. (I wasnt in a good mood anymore so called it like it was, something like insufficiently_thoughtful_person, Dumn, stupid).

Anyway, Today I did a google search, and found that number above, spoke with a very smart customer rep. Ms. Brown, who understood and walked the paper work to accounting to reverse the debit. and...it is not policy!
