August in Review
My collection in August
August was a slow month for my collection. I was on vacation for the first 2 weeks and when I got back I could only find 2 coins that really jumped out at me.
The first was a 2005 SAE MS-69. This coin put me over the 50% mark on my MS collection for SAEs and my goal is to complete this collection by the end of the year. The other coin I got was the beautiful 1991-1995 W.W.II Silver Dollar commemorative. I got its companion...the 50c piece...awhile back and it's nice to have both coins. It is a great way to honor the "Greatest Generation". This is is one of the duel set coins that I am thinking of reslabbing into multi-holders down the road.
I also got a submission back from NGC of unslabbed modern commemoratives and a 1996 Proof SAE I got over the last few months. Everything came back PF-69UC except for a 1992 Olympics 50c piece. It got PF-70UC. There is only 279 that have this grade from NGC and I just about jumped out of my chair when I read the results on-line!
I was also able to get pictures of all my coins and post them in the registry. It took me a bit longer then I thought and I am still working on the quality.
Thanks for taking the time to read.
Jeffrey
