From feast to famine in my coin world..

Well, this has been a year that will live with me for a long time as I have seen my own personal finances peak and fade.

There have been job changes, wage increases/decreases, there has been hope and despair....all in the course of 12 months.

This has affected my buying power for coins greatly, and I have not purchased any coins for my collection now in a few months...though I DID add to my comic registry...when maybe I should have held on to my money for a little longer...but we do what we feel is right at the time.

The gas prices have not affected my transportation budget so much as I take a bus to work everyday with discounted bus passes, and I only have to get on 1 bus, takes me right to the door. I also transport my children for their visitation with me on the bus, too..and light rail. BUT the prices of food and living have gone up in copious amounts, making things realllllly tight here.

This too, shall pass. But I think we have all felt the effects of this...and maybe all of our registries have suffered a bit.
