A good time to reflect.
This afternoon I was building collections it was raining and I was alone in the house.
My favorite Pastime is building coin collections weather my own or ones that I am going to sell, I don't make a profit at it but I make enough so I can buy more coins to build more collections to sell and upgrade my collections and purchase other coins for my collections and supplies, you get the picture. I advise collectors that are just starting out to buy a parcel collection and fill in rarer coins themselves as apposed to buying rolls, bags, lots of coins as it will be less expensive building a collection this way. That way I have the fun of starting them out and they still can make it their collection by upgrading and adding the finishing touches. I have a number of complete collections but none of them are finished, every time I run across a coin that I like the way that it looks I set it aside to later compare it to the one in my collection to see which one I like better.
After reading Revenant's most recent journal, it made me think of how lost I felt after completing My Peace Dollar collection. I had put so much in to building, it for a while I was some what lost as what to do next. There is just no way you can have the same feeling about a collection that was purchased as opposed to one that was built from scratch. I can always tell when to end my journals, when the rambling starts, I have been told that that is usually after the first word, everyone is a critic.
See ya on the flip side
