I have made a story for "Walking Liberty" the star of my Favorite coin, the Silver Eagle.

On any given day and when I make time, I often take my wonderful coin collections out and I like to just STARE at them, and admire the craftsmanship and I often wonder what the characters on the coins might be thinking, or actually doing as the case may be.

I can just imagine Lincoln telling the engraver "WAIT!! this is my GOOD side!!" same with the other Presidents, because we all KNOW they were NEVER vain!!

But the most interesting character of all to me on a coin is Walking Liberty. But I don't see her with the "laurel and oak" that we have all be told she is carrying, no, I see her with wormwood and other herbals as she sets off in an early morning sun to prepare the distillation process for Absinthe. I endearingly refer to her in my imagination, and now for all of you who read this, as Absinthe Girl.

She seems happy as she walks with purpose and duty to the distllery, making many happy with the fruits of her labor. May Absinthe Girl live and glorious and long life eternal on the Silver Eagles.
