What went on with my collection and what's next.

May was a great month for my collection. I got 9 SAE back from NGC. 2001, 2003, and 2006 came back PF69UC and 2002, 2004, 2005, 2007, and 2008 came back PF70UC. And my first MS (2008) SAE I bought from the Mint came back MS-69. Next year I will be buying 3 or 4 of each to see if I can get 70s when I submit to NGC.

I also puchased 7 coins from various venues last month.

1990 Eisenhower Commemorative PF69UC

1992 Whitehouse Commemorative PF69UC

1987 Constitution Commemorative PF69UC (the ZOMBIE coin) Check out my resent post about this coin.

1989 SAE PF69UC

1998 SAE PF69UC

1992 SAE PF69UC

With these 3 SAE purchases, I only need 5 more coins (not includeing the 1995w) to finish my proof collection.

I also purchased a 1993 Thomas Jefferson 250th Anniversary Commemorative. I noticed that NGC has graded a total of only 1388 of these coins and only 21 received PF70UC. I thought I would take a chance with this coin and I found one that looked like it might make the grade....I hope. For $25.50, it's not a bad price for whatever happens with it. I will give an update when I submit this coin for grading.

What's next for my collection will be the submission of my state quarters. I have the complete set of proof silver and clad. I can't afford to send them all at once....I think one year per month is going to be more feasable for me. I also think I will go with more MS SAE in June. I only have a few of those in my collection.

Once again, thanks for reading my journal, good luck getting the coins you want, and with your submissions.

Jeffrey
