A "twofer" sort of....

Greetings!

Well, after years of being without it, I finally received my "Batman: Year One Part One" in a 9.6 White Pages grade in the mail after winning an auction for 19.99 for the comic. I have proudly put it in my comics registry and could not be happier to have it. I have since bought the series in a non-collectible format so that I may read the stories as often as I like, and see the artwork, which is one of the best pieces of comic art ever written and penciled. Frank Miller, and David Mazzucchelli are my heroes for bringing Batman bravely into the modern age....even if it WAS in 1992!!

I have lately been a little scattered with starting the new job and sending my interests in other places for the last little while, but that does not mean my passion for coins, namely the Silver Eagles has diminished even slightly. I have been putting in some bids on Eagles recntly, but have been "beaten back" a little.

Still trying to get the cards paid down while trying to find the best deals possible is an acrobatic feat. I am still anticipating finishing my Eagle set by 2010. As well as starting a great Peace set, too. I can't help but love the Peace Dollars, too. Very masterfully designed coin. I wish I liked the Morgans more, but there is something about the Morgans aesthetically, that I don't really like...cannot put my finger on it, though.
