My new 'fav' coin.

I saw it in the shop yesterday, and had to have it. The VanBuren dollar coin, hiding in a proof set with some other old blokes. Why? His hair. My wife didn't like the idea of me sending the guys in for grading, something about liking the mints packaging. So... Ebay I go, picking up the bloke in an NGC PF70uc slab for about $35. Statistically, it made sense. Now, being that I don't need him from his cage, the mint package is going into hiding with my wifes quarters, who also like to live in their original plastic shells, from my my grasp. (I don't remember what drawer they live in actually.)

Once I get the coin, I'll post a pic so you all can see why I had to have that coin. ($35 for one coin is the most I have ever paid for a coin in auction, but I had to have it, and I had to not spend my entire paycheck the day after I got paid. Um, I wasn't supposed to spend it all by now...)

(Yeah, I know, I don't have the 100k credit limit cards some of you have, 35 for one coin is a lot for me)
