My "Special" Coin 2007 Rev.

I ordered a 2008W MS69 Brown label on 4/8/08 and rec'd it on the 18th. Cost: $39.00 (no freight)and put it away in my set. Heard about the 07 rev. error on the 23rd. Upon hearing about the error I bought a 70 right away. Cost: $199.00 (no freight). I looked at the price just now and I almost fell out of my chair!

I thought just for giggles, I would look at the 69 I bought and if by some weird stroke of luck it would be one of the errors I would be so excited! Now think about it, for the average "john doe" the odds of me being lucky enough to get one of the ones that slipped by NGC ? 1,000,000 to 1?! Well, dreams do happen! I looked at the one in my set and sure enough, it IS one of the errors!!!! I need to send it back to NGC for Redesignation (a cost of $10 plus freight). Well, small price to pay for a potentially very rare coin. I heard that the mint thinks there are about 47,000 coins produced. Maybe for once, the coin gnomes were smiling upon me! Rather than mocking me.

That's all for now. Just wanted to share my joy that I have 1 ea. of 69 and 70 in this error coin.
