It helps keep my mind focused on things less depressing, like my Mom's health, and of course, work... :-)

Anyway, I ordered a second 2008 ASE Proof from the Mint last night. The one I bought on the day of release graded disappointingly as a PF68UC. That leaves me with two choices for it, either sell it for melt or close to it (if I'm lucky) or else stack it in with some Clay Pigeons in the launcher and yell "PULL".

Actually, what I think I will do is give it to my youngest daughter, whom I'm trying to interest in coins. She's already fascinated with paper currency, and I've been adding to her collection whenever I get the opportunity. North Korean Won, Iraqi Dinars, and Cuban (did I say that??) Pesos. Not to mention a few Zimbabwean Dollars (I could probably get her several million of those now) She is a lot like me in that I can see her already starting to develop an interest in the world beyond her immediate surroundings (She turns 14 next Sat), and I think that one day, she'll get the coin bug, too. And when she does, I think that I can seed a collection for her.
