I am putting together an interview sheet as I am going to interview some coin shop owners....

Well, the "Reverse of 2007" is certainly going to spawn some extra excitement this year. And I KNOOOW ALLLLLL of you ran to wherever your coins are to check up to see if YOU had one...I know I sure as hell did!! And no, I don't.

But the excitement had me thinking about what I could do a little differently to spawn a little excitement of my own, and I decided I am going to attend some local coin shows and interview some local coin shop owners and see where everyone else is "coming from" and what started different types of people collecting coins in the first place. I am thinking I will either post the interviews here, or at the very least post the link to whatever blog site I might need to use (space concerns have me thinking I need a plan) I start to feel more alive in the fall, and am more apt to start a venture at that point.

I am almost positive that my great enthusiasm sometimes gets on some of your nerves...you know that guy that NEVER has anything bad to say about collecting so, I think the interview and article forum will be aninteresting take on all of our true love which is coin collecting. I am also a great fan of comic books, so I am thinking of a few interviews regarding that genre as well. My oldest daughters great passion is Anime, and I would like to know more about that, too.

Anyway, just some plans I had, I think this is going to be a very fun and rewarding venture for all of us here. I will make it as interesting and informative as possible.
