...is harder than it looks.
I recently got this 2003 Lincoln cent to add to my 21st Century type set. It gave me a chance to practice with my camera to try to capture a good image of the coin.
After many attempts, I am finding that it is harder than it looks. Proof coins or others with mirror-like finishes are tough and shooting through scratched plastic does not make it easier. Around half of the time I need to retake the picture, so not only do I need to upgrade my collection, but now I need to upgrade my photos also. Fortunately for my wife, if I am busy with photography, I have less opportunity to buy new coins!
