I would like to add my thoughts

I am relativly new to Collectors Society...Feb 2008...and I never have thought of the Registry as some kind of competitive game. I just thought it a really cool place to showcase my collection to as many people as possible ( The internet is wonderful).

It is really enjoyable checking out other peoples' coins and reading the little tidbits of information about each one.

Even though I have been collecting coins...Modern Proof Comms, Proof ASE, and Annual Silver and Mint sets... for some time, I have just started in the last 2 months to get them graded and my guess I probably have a few hundred coins all together to get done. It's going to be a long and expensive process. Although as a firefighter I do make a good livin' for myself and my family, getting these coins graded is at the bottom of the priorty list. I try to send about 5 to 10 coins a month. I do purchase the coins from the mint as they become available and do my best to pick up coins I have missed. But once again that can be quite exspensive....check out the some of the prices of the Proof Silver Eagles.

This all said and done, will I ever complete my registries?? NOT IN MY LIFETIME!! I have never been able to afford the purchase of the gold comms and some other coins I am missing.

But I will slowly add the coins I do have and hope everyone enjoys checking them out.

Now back to fixing my registry....me being the DUMB A**...I accidently deleted my coins from the Moderm Comms and have to re-enter them.
