A VERY LUCKY PURCHASE!

Since my 2006 20th Anniversay ASE set could not get the special designation...except the reverse proof...I have kept an eye out for the other two coins to complete the set.

A couple weeks ago I got one coin, NGC graded MS-69, for $80. A couple days ago I saw an auction on Ebay for the last coin I needed to finish the collection. It was NGC graded PF-70. The bid was at $90 when I put my bid in with a max of $130. The value according to NumisMedia is $250. I really didn't think I would even come close to winning the bid. I really didn't have the money to spare...but what the H***!

So when I checked this morning to see how I did....MY GOD! I WON!....for $102.50! I already had a credit of $50 in my account so the extra $50 wasn't to hard to swallow since the price was alot less then what I was expecting to pay for a coin of that grade.

To say I am "tickled pink" with excitement to get this coin....in my opinion....at a "bargain" price is an understatement! This is just another reason I love to collect...once in awhile you run into a good deal!
