Fallen off the Wagon in Florida

Thought I was over the "Hump" 'till Hump Day hit me...

I thought I was on my way to recovery and then the "monkey" tapped me on the sholder and said "Dont foget there is an auction tonight" I then said no I'm gonna be good, I have family and friends who are counting on me. The "monkey" responded, "It sure wont hurt to read the menu, just dont order any food" I again said no, as I am still weak from this last weekends "binger" but then I had a "momentary lapse of reason" and logged on to take a "peek".

Well I figure you all know what happened. Now I usually "pull the trigger" 30 seconds before the whistle blows so I generally get what I bid on unless of course someone has a "max bid" that bumps me out on the next increment. Tonight I did it differantly. I pulled the trigger with a whole 90 seconds left in the auction giving whomever ample time to out bid me. Of the nine lots I bid on I dont have to buy but eight. Is'nt that great? I know, that stinks, and I realize I still have somewhat of a problem.

Anyway as usual I got killer bargins on the following: 1972-S PCGS Ike Dollar MS 67 and the following UNC Silver Eagles, also PCGS and all MS 69 1987,1988,1992,1993,2000,2001, and a "First Strike" 2005.

I am now feeling that letdown after the thrill of the chase. It never ceases to amaze me how quick that "high" leaves. It stays just long enough to enter the coins into my registry and since they are all PCGS, I will have to wait until tomorrow to see where that puts me.

It seems like yesterday that I said, if I can just get into the 700's I'll be satisfied, then if I could just get into the 600's. As of late I was convinced the 500's would be the place for me. Well I am certain when I reach the 400's I will be totally, completly, positivly happy. If I or any of you all really beleive that, then there is some swampland I would like to sell you here in Florida. (Its got a CAC sticker attached) lol
