Made it through the Monday night Auction buying only one coin!

If I'm not cured I'm well on the way to recovery. I owe this one to audrop as not being an avid Morgan Dollar collector I would never have "read the menu" tonight in the silver dollar section.

Dont get me wrong, I love Morgans, how could anyone not love those big beautiful silver "cartwheels". I really have not met a coin I did not like. Its just there is so darn many of them and with all the "Vams" I dont need to start anouther set unless I could have a decent chance of completing it.

But thanks, not blame goes to... drum roll please... audrop! Had I not checked out his sets I would never have thought that this is something that is very interesting and posible to do. Mint sets commemorating loved ones birth years.

Great idea! Its not like I need to create any more "monsters" in my collecting or anything. Anyway I picked up a very nice 1898 "bright white" Morgan NGC 65 for the low low price of $150. I feel great right now. Its amazing how great a coin purchase makes you feel! Its almost better than... naw but its close.

Thanks again audrop for saving me a few hundred tonight. He also gave me another idea, I dont think I'll sell that tent in this coming weekends yardsale as it may come in handy if I lose my home and my van.
