Mint Gold and Platinum sales

If you have been watching the price of gold and platinum these days, then you have noticed that you can not buy any platinum coins (except 1/10 ounce) from the mint. If they continue to not offer platinum coins for 2007, this could make 2007 year the lowest minted numbers for platinum. Also, for some of us that bought the 10th Anniversary Platinum set, the mint may not make the max limit of 30,000 sets. What would that do to the current sets selling on eBay and at coin dealers? From the articles that I've read, platinum could be selling for 3000 per ounce by the end of 2008 and it's possible to see gold hit 2000 per ounce. This is good and bad for the average coin collector....you like to see prices increase but at some point it makes future buys limited if not impossible. Is it just me or are others wondering when will the price stop climbing!?!
