Very Happy!

I have been collecting coins since 1988 when I bought a proof set to celebrate the birth of my first daughter. My collection has been growing ever since with silver eagles, modern commemoratives, and annual proof sets. I have never really thought about having them graded or even thinking of the value of the coins in my collection until a couple months ago. I made my puchases not because of their value but because of the beauty of the proof coins, artwork, and the moments in our history that commemoratives represent, with the silver eagles being my favorite!

Lately, I have been educating myself on how coins are graded and theirs values and found it to be quite interesting. And after a little research I decided to submit a few coins through NGC. I have to admit I found myself eagerly waiting to see how my coins faired. I checked just about every day to see the progress they were making through NGC and their final grades which I received a few days ago.

It was quite an enjoyable experience and appreciated the NGC reps help with questions that I had regarding submissions. I have put more coins in for grading and plan to eventually have my whole collection done. I will post here with the results of my grades as they come!
