How long do I wait?

I read about how busy NGC is and I wonder what ever happened to my submission. My coins were received by NGC on 12/21/07. At that time a turnaround was about 21 days for an economy submission. Mine finally made it to "scheduled for grading" last Thurday afternoon and haven't moved since. I think all those 2008 ASE "Early Releases" got moved in front of mine. No such thing as first in, first out. I'm afraid to send an E-mail and ask what's going on. I'd get my coins all body baged.
