So much for self confidance and patience

Boy what a week. Trying to get up the confidance to send my coins in was a killer to say the least. Finally, last night I got my feet wet. After weighing all the info. that I recieved about sending in some valuable quarters to get cross graded. I did it. I took the plunge. ( see collectors journal "HELP" ) I cut off the grading card that ICCS places with the coin, and went to work getting everything ready to send. After my final acceptance of what felt like "hurting" my graded coins. I was ready to send them in. So, since the weather was so bad in Calgary, Alberta Canada today. with wind chill -50c or something like -50f, Hey, no work today!. I went to the post office to send the coins in to NGC and found out that Canada post won't insure them to send them. Here I am with an aprox. min. value of 2500.00 AND NO INSURANCE. They also said six days to send them express post. NOOOOOOOOO!!!. What could I do. I walked over to the UPS store and they told me that they could get them there within 24 hours. Only catch, NO INSURANCE. Again, NOOOOOOOO!!!. So I Kissed them goodby, filled out the forms and here I am. Now for the next hard part, the waiting. I feel sick to my stomache, no insurance, well, it's done. Please, please don't get lost or damaged. A coulple of the coins are pretty much non-replacable. Again, trying to move on. Please anyone. How long do I have to wait? They were sent in as standard world crossover, with overnight return delivery, and they are supposed to be there by noon tommorrow. Geese, I'm still thinking about the no insurance. Can anybody help me? I think I'm going to be a wreck by the time they come back to me. I sure hope this all is over soon, so that I can start the process all over again.
