New coins, and new excitement!!

Greetings everyone, I hope you all had the best Festivus EVER!!

So, the other day I began contemplating what I want to do so far as my numismania is concerned, namely IF I should branch out just a bit and what coins to branch out with.

I decided on the "First Day of Issue Covers" namely the Presidential Dollar 1st day covers from the mint.

Now, don't get me wrong here. The Silver Eagles will always be my main point of interest, I will keep my subscription to them from the mint ( 1 proof and 1 uncirc a year) but ever since I got the 1st day of issue BU Washington coin from NGC as part of my membership, I have had an eye on those coins.

The mint offers a limited edition of 50,000 covers for about $15, in which you get the cover, certifying it's 1st day status, and 1 coin each from P and D mints.

I like the low edition numbers, and I really like the coins. I WISH we'd follow Canada's lead and get ridda the paper dollars altogether....but I only can dream.
