please Santa, I've been good this year (kinda)

Why is it when we get a little older (remember the Hudson?... not the river....the CAR!) we can't write Santa a letter and ask for something special? Well, this year I decided to try it and see if he would read my letter and wrap up a beautiful old coin for me. So I composed a very detailed letter, reminding him that I hadn't bothered him for years, but had remained a believer and a good citizen. I know it will come, I just know it will! I have faith in Santa! I'll leave him the traditional hot cocoa and cookies, and he will leave me a very collectible silver dollar! (I'm not greedy)(but Santa, it's your call if you want to bring gold...wink, wink...) naturally my confirmation that he brought it will be that the coin has an "S" mintmark. "S" stands for Santa, right? I can't wait! I showed my wife the letter before I mailed it (just for spellcheck, of course and for her to mail it for me)(hedging my bet?) In the meantime...hope you all wrote your own letters too, and get your wishes for the holidays...Merry Christmas and the best of all good things in the New Year! p.s. I'll let you all know what I got for Christmas in a future journal...
