Some "raw" Coins I am looking forward to adding to my Registry Next year!!

Well, the turkey has been devoured. The stuffing, yams, gravy, mashed potatoes, pumpkin pie has been consumed.

The wine and beer have been properly "recycled" and the annual family feuds have been re-energized.

Must be the day after Thanksgiving!!

I am not one of those who go out the day after and shop and get into the crazies. Usually the Friday after I sit home and nurse a small hangover and try to find something on TV.

After I feel better, I clean up the kitchen ( I do all the cooking and cleaning for Thanksgiving I even take my vacation days from work to do this, I do really enjoy it) and then I start to plan for the upcoming year.

I have already decided that next year I am going to make a pumpkin cheesecake, and tweak a few recipes...and drink more before the guests arrive...but that's a whole other issue.

Then I started looking at my raw coins, and I found a new excitement for this great hobby we have.

I got a great deal when I first started collecting on some 2000-2004 bullion Silver Eagles, in air tite holders. I think I paid 85 dollars, postage included, for all 5.

It dawned on me I only need a 2005 to be up to date for the full 2000 set. I'll have them graded in 08, most likely late in 08, but I am glad I took a look at these coins out to re-ignite my passion.

I am also looking forward to getting my subscription 08 proof silver eagle, and my 08 uncirculated silver eagle from the mint.

I think next year I may expand a bit into wheat backs, and maybe early quarters and nickels. And I really like the early walkers (1940 era) as well.

So, I contemplate a good year next year. I am newly inspired.

I anticipate a great string of successes.

I anticipate a great deal of more family feuding through Christmas....

Where'd I put that FLASK????

The best to all of you!!
