How it all began......

Well I have been collecting coins since I was about 10. I started like everyone else, looking through jars of pennies and the change in your Dad's pocket. I started to fill the books and going to auctions. I did not have the money to purchase what I wanted but would buy everything that no one else wanted. I ended up with Franklin proofs and old Canadian coins. I worked at a gas station when I was out of High School and would get all the coins that was propably stolen from the kids parents and spent on a Butterfinger. My prize find was an AU 1913 Buffalo. Of course it's the cheap one. I really got things going when Ebay came around and established a nice type set of currency ranging from $1 to $10. I have filled most of the books now with the lingering 1909-s VDB, 14d and 22p still holding out!! But with persistance I was able to get a few nice coins and everything the US Mint has belched out since 1999. I hope to start slabbing the coins I feel are worthy of it soon so there is no guessing at what I have. Not too shabby for a small time cheap numismatic.
