I really wish I started collecting silver eagles last year. I cannot believe the prices of last years 2006 w silver eagles. I have been watching the price of a 20th anniversary set go from 350.00 about a week ago...to upwards of 1500.00 now.

Even an uncirculated 2006 w UNGRADED is going for 160.00. I bought an ungraded 2006 w uncirculated silver eagle 2 weeks ago for 89.00 and I SWORE I spent too much. I am now trying to acquire an MS 70 2006 w uncirculated silver eagle...and I know it's gonna be 170.00....

I am glad the prices are going up. I know this (2006) was a low mintage year, and I hope 2007 w's follow the trend as I got mine right from the mint for mint prices.

I think the hunt is as fun as watching the collection prices market value climb.
