Don't you love it when a plan comes together?

So, as I mentioned in an earlier entry, I have been awaiting the results of a deal I was trying to get on an early release NGC 70 Silver Eagle.

And I did get it. For $60.00!!

I have been seeing these in coin shops and in advertising pages for 150.00 and up. So I feel like I got a pretty good deal.

I have to say, I will be proud to post this one in my collection and I will do so as soon as I have a few moments. This should add to my score pretty well.

I did have a deal fall through, too, but I was kinda hoping it would as I am running outta funds lately for my collecting. It was a 1st of 50,000 1986 Bullion MS 69 ( get your mind outta the gutter COMPUTER!! ) NGC graded coin. My best price to offer was 65.00 It went for 66.00 ... can't win em all. But, like I say, I am kinda glad I missed that one as my heart was not really in it anyway. I am kinda stuck on the W's right now.

And that's one thing I have learned over the years from collecting various things. If you don't really LIKE the thing...it's really not worth having around anyway.
