Photographing Coins
What's the best way?
Having seen hundreds of photographs of coins on eBay (and various dealers web sites) in the past month or so, I noticed a good picture makes all the difference in the world.
So I was wondering what was the best way to photograph coins? In and out of slabs? (If that makes any difference.)
I realize that one can buy digital pictures of their coins when they get them graded, I would like to know what's the best way to get good pictures of our coins for we home photographers.
Does one need a shadow box? A strobe light? Is bright sunlight ever used?
I'd appreciate any feedback that anyone would like to offer.
Thank you,
