My Dog decided what my next submission is going to be
90 lb. Puppies... Gotta love 'em
I left my Monster Puppy alone in the house for about a half hour while I went outside to trim bushes. I came back in, and he'd climbed up onto one of my wall unit sections and pulled down my Old San Francisco Mint Commemorative and was using the case as a chew toy.
While the case is destroyed, he fortunately did not damage the coin or it's holder. I'm still trying to figure out how he got all the way up there, and I'm actually impressed by his ingenuity.
And believe it or not, I'm actually grateful, because he made up my mind for me about my next submission. I was trying to decide between submitting more State Quarters or some Commemoratives. I'm going to go ahead and submit Commemoratives now, and will put together the package this evening. It'll be:
Old San Francisco Mint
Jamestown 400th Anniversary
American Eagle 20th Anniversary Set
And yes, I did discipline my pooch, and am just thankful that he didn't eat the coin, because he definitely could have. Retrieving it would have been most unpleasant for the both of us. I wonder if NGC would've still graded it, and if not, what would they have written on the Body Bag... :-)
