How do they do it?

So today I went to a local coin show to see what was out there that I had to have and I noticed a dealer with 43 First Spouse coin sets on his table. And after talking with him he said he was able to get 15 of the third issue by using friends/families to buy them. I myself tryed to log on to the site and as we all know the Mints server is "slow" to put it nice. I really dont like the overall coin design but I really dont like the way some people are sticking it to us normal people who do just want to collect them.

I understand the value of money, but I do like to sleep at night with out feeling guilty. I know not all dealers are this way and I have many I find very, very reasonable and enjoy talking to them so please no hate mail. I was just wondering if the other local shows are also looking small compaired to earlier this year. (I am in the DFW area in Texas.)
