UNDERRATED! A Must Read...
Seated Half Dollars!
Seated Half Dollars are one of the most under rated series in numismatics today. Especially, the Seated No Motto Halves which you can never seem to find and will be one day ten times more expensive than they are today. When can you buy a coin that only has 2-10 coins better and not pay an outrageous amount of money for it. But, they have come along way since 1966. I looked in one of the Red Books from 1966 and a No Motto half in mint state was only $55 and a With Motto half was $35. I wish I lived back then to get those kind of deals. But, as I said before Seated Liberty Half Dollars are the most underrated coin series and needs more attention in the Numismatic World.
Recently, the guys at Coin World wrote an article about how some Seated Liberty Half Dollars haven't moved in price in the last three years. Three years ago they charted prices for about ten half dollars and when they checked the prices three years later the prices didn't change at all. Seated Liberty Half Dollars are bound to break out just like Bust Half Dollars did earlier this year.
