First Entry

After 2+ years of maintaining my collection here, I decided to start my journal. I guess this was prompted by Michael Cooper who so kindly responded to my question in regards to internet dealers. Thanks for your response Mike!

I have a few coins that I picked up in my early childhood, then took off around 50 years to go to college, get a job, get married, have kids, have grandkids and retire. My interest in coin collecting has filled some of my time since then, about 2-1/2 years ago.

My main interest in my type sets of US Gold and US Type set.

It it always tough trying to stay on any kind of a budget. I keep finding nice coins I remember seeing pictures of.

I will try to attach a picture of one of my favorite coins in my collection, the colors are really super, but the picture doesn't show what it really looks like.
