How do you feel?

I have just sent in to NGC, my 14 sets of President Proof coins for grading total of 56 coins. Before I boxed the coins up, I took a look at them under my 30-power microscope. I was quite disappointed in what I saw. I was more disappointed in what I did not see. In 4 of the coins I did not see a sharp clean strike. The coins looked more like someone at the mint took the President dollar die and hit it with a hammer to strike the coin. Other coins were rough around the edges as well. So what are you to do? Some will say send them back to the mint. If you ask for replacement coins they will send you more junk. Not me, I did not send them back. I sent them in anyways, with hopes that some will come back with a grade of PF 70. Fat chance. Here is my call, out of 56 coins submitted, only two coins will be PF 70 and 50 of the president proofs will grade PF 69 and the rest, 4 will be junk in the grade of PF 68. This reminds me of the good old days of the 50s and 60s years of proof production from the mint. Wait this is 2007.

The Mint has stated the sale of the John Adams first day covers has sold out? Have you seen the coins in those sets? Run for you life. Those coins looked as if, after the coins were minted, the US Mint hired some unemployed, DUI convicted, party crazed cerebrates ( you know who I?m talking about, you what females, they are a little weaker and will only do a little damage to the coins) to strike them with a ball hammer. US mint can you do a little better JOB
