If you got the recent Coin World they think they found what caused the extra leaf, OR DID THEY?

If you got the recent Coin World they think they found what caused the extra leaf. The think by accident the obverse was punched on the reverse and the extra leaf is Wahington's hair. But they said it was punched on before the reverse design was already on the coin. The extra leaf looks like it was punched oo and the extra leaf looks weird and doesn't look like it could have gotten on the coin the way it did. We will probably never know for sure what caused the extra leaf but we will have a whole mess of theories.
