I'm a little confused on Registry Points
How is it that a coin worth 1/3 of another have almost 15 times the Registry Points?
A submission of mine just got shipped this morning, and I added the coins into my Sets. I was a little disappointed again, although not totally surprised. However, one thing that I saw really perplexed me. I submitted an 1892 Morgan, and it got graded as F12 (I was hoping for a VF20). It's value, according to Numismedia, is $17.20
I also submitted a 1878 7/8TF Morgan, which got graded as AU53 (which was a big disappointment as I thought it MS62). It's value according to Numismedia is somewhere in the Mid $50 range.
Now what seems strange to me is that the 1878 got 3 Registry Points, while the 1892 got 41 Registry Points. Seems a bit lopsided to me.
