Know your history???

For my forth journal entry, I?d thought that I touch on something a little close to home, Jamestown. Yes I live in the wonderful state of Virginia and we are celebrating the 400th anniversary of Jamestown, which I?m sure most of you know. Now the U.S. mint released the Jamestown Commemorative silver and gold coins earlier this year to also celebrate this event. I personally do not collect commemorative coins but being a Virginian I felt as if I needed to buy this one. So I bought the proof gold when it was released, waited a while and shipped it to NGC. Well I just received it back from NGC today and I?m happy with the grading, Proof 69 Ultra Cameo, still always hoping for that 70.
