As I have stated in a previous post I am very much into Betts medals right now. I am working on a Signiture set of Betts medals.

I have a Betts-382 in copper and have been looking for one in silver. It is believed that these silver medals were avalible to midshipmen who participatede in the naval battle of Cape Finisterre in 1747 which was part of the War of the Austrian Succession. I recently found a very atractive example and am very excited to show it. It was graded as AU-58, which I was hoping for MS. I have a description in my Signiture set about the medal. These betts medals a so interesting to me.
