Fantastic, no, better than that..I just received my Buffalo $50 dollar coin from the mint and two addional UC from a Bullion dealer. These are beautiful coins. To top it off the mint issue is a first strike. . .
Nobody here to share my excitement with. I plan on sending them in for grading. . . it that wise with coins like these or should I just let them stand on their own beauty?
Somedays, this is just the best hobby, other times a get a load of rejects from NGC, I check my wallet and find the hobby anything but fun.
Honestly though, I'm really glad I got involved. I try to buy and sell on ebay while upgrading my collection with the money from each sale. One of the hardest things for me is putting a realistic price on the coins, you know; as high as the market will bare.
I anyone has time some evening and wants to cretique my pricing, I would welcome it. my ebay store is "Steven's Collectibles"
Now this is not a sales pitch....don't go there to buy, I'm fairly new at this and looking for a little coaching. I've been using PCGS and NGC's pop reports as somewhat of a guide up until now...I don't know how realistic they are. For instance, is a 1961 franklin half MS 64 FBL worth $150, or am i dreaming. I have a couple hundred more coins to list and I don't want to waste all that time doing it wrong. Is experience the best guide for pricing or is there a sensible formula that works for the most part.
Thanks for listening. Steve
