This Week In Coins
Slow Week At The Bank
This week at the bank, I wasn't able to find much. I got four wheaties and nothing else. I did find out however that my Operations Specialist collects a bit also. When she went to audit a teller at a different branch, she found a $1 and $10 silver certificate in his mutilated money, because they were old. ) That was a nice find for her.
Yesterday, JPs Corner delivered 14 Lincoln 1959 - 1998 Harris Coin Folders. I have a huge family. That's just for my second cousins who are old enough to have an understanding of the concept of money and dates. There are about 5 more that I will work on in a few years.
I also found out tonight that a friend of mine in New York is a cub scout leader. I reached out to him to let him know that if he needed someone to talk to the kids about coins, I would love to help. (I think Boy Scouts still need a coin collecting merit badge)
Other than that, I bought a few 2016 coins to bring some of my sets back up to date. I anxiously await their arrival. Happy collecting, everyone.
