Trying to get good photos for my gallery.

I have realized that while it seems easy in principle, it is actually rather difficult to get a nice photo of a coin. I have found that a black background works well and have tried several types of materials.

Particularly difficult is the reflection issue while making a photo of a rather shiny silver coin. I have seen my fingers and ears as well as the reflection of the camera in the coins when I review the photo.

I have already posted several photos, although I may actually replace them with better images as I become more adept at making quality shots of my collection.
