The do's and don'ts!
I finished selling the vast portion of my collection today. Every collector (or their heirs) will probably face this some day, so I thought I'd share my experience and ask others to chime in with their thoughts.
The Marketplace Board:
This went quite well and many collectors here on the registry bought various pieces amounting to about 40% of what I had to sell. This was probably the most positive experience, as I've met MANY nice people there during this process. T
I finally completed a set!
Finished off my SMS 21st Century Type set today. Also, I am down to two slots on the business strike set in the same category. On a sad note, the last of my morgans are up on ebay. It's difficult to imagine life without morgans, but full steam ahead!

After many years of collecting, I've decided to sell the vast majority of my collection. No fiscal crisis, health issues or any of the other events that sometimes accompanies these decisions. Just decided to move in a different direction over the next few years.
I'll keep my MS69/PF69 silver eagle sets and a few of my high end morgans (at least for now). Others I'll be adding prices to as time permits. If you spot something that catches your eye,
