Has any body seen anything like this?

A 7 stamped in the field on the reverse of a 1967 sms Lincoln penny. It is graded ms 68 by ngc I asked for your opinions about this coin about year ago. I still haven't found out anything about it. So I'm asking for your opinion again. Some thought it may be graffiti. But if that were the case would it get a grade of ms 68? I talked to one individual that thought maybe it was a dropped 7 from a die. Buy obviously it was not from the die that struck this coin. But here's a kicker, there is als

1980 D washington quater MS 67

A very rare coin with Not enough registry points? I recently purchased a 1980 D Washington quarter ngc ms 67 for my registry sets. before I bid on the coin I checked out the census and the price guide . Ngc has only graded 9 in this grade and non higher but there is only a total of 113 graded by ngc(seems very low). I expected there to be a high value on this coin. But there is no price in the price guide. so I checked the other guys price guide and it was $700 and the census is 16 in ms 67.

FBL or not

A 1950D ms65 Franklin Grade ms65 by pcgs. Looking for your opinion.I purchased this coin thinking I might resubmit to see if it would designate fbls. the bottom bell lines look full to me. The upper set of bell lines are 98% full except for the bottom two lines just to the left of the crack.also the upper lines has a bag markat the right edge of the bell. I would think that this wouldn't matter much as the bottom lines are the main lines for designating FBls(please correct me if I am wrong).A

Some Sellers on Ebay!

Ever wonder why there are no mint marks on 1965-1967 coins?

IT's all your fault. if you were collecting in 1964 I just read an article by David W Lange that explains why. It's all the coin collectors fault. ngc cencus ??

!972 5c pf69 ultra cameo So I noticed on a couple differant auction sights that quite a few 1972 5c ngc pf69 ultra cameo coins have been showing up for sale. Then I noticed that all the coins have the same first 7 numbers. Then I did some research to verify the ngc cerification numbers . so It looks like someone has cerified 85 of these 1972 5c pf coins and out of 50 numbers I verified Only 2 were pf68 ultra and the rest are 69 ultra. So lets just say about 75 of these coins are 69 ultra. Now

has anybody seen this variety

A 72 in the reverse field of 1967 1c sms I have searched for this variety and haven't found any info about it. ther is a 72 in the reverse field underneath lincoln memorial. the 7 is fairly prominent and the 2 is barely legible. the coin is a 1967 1c sms ngc ms 68.
